Though the 2017 season is drawing ever closer, the Georgia Bulldogs are still waiting on a member of their recruiting class — JUCO WR Ahkil Crumpton.

However, according to 247Sports, they won’t have to wait much longer, as Crumpton now has a target date for arriving on campus.

Crumpton said he’s planning on arriving in Athens by the end of this coming weekend:

“I’ll be there on Sunday,” Crumpton told Dawgs247.

Crumpton played for Los Angeles Valley College last year and said he was considering joining Georgia and Utah State, among other schools, before he made his final decision:

“Coach Coley came out here and saw me and then I took a trip to Utah State,” Crumpton said. “They asked me to hold off on signing because they wanted to try and get me in, so I did. I had to take a calculus class and I finished that recently and sent in my transcripts. I’m excited about it. I’m a Bulldog.”

Now that the Bulldogs’ 2017 class is nearing completion, coach Kirby Smart and his staff can start to figure out which players can make an immediate impact this fall.
