At least one former Bulldog is ready to see Georgia take on Alabama.

Thomas Davis, ex-Georgia LB and current Carolina Panther, made an appearance on the SEC Network to discuss the Bulldogs season. During a “word association” segment, Davis was asked about a recent sign by a Georgia fan that said “We (kinda) want Bama.”

Davis wasted no time in responding and said the sign was “fake.” He explained that Georgia does want Bama and is not afraid of the Crimson Tide.

Georgia is having an incredible season, but the Bulldogs have yet to face an opponent like Alabama. The Crimson Tide are talented on both sides of the ball and present a unique challenge for opponents.

On the other hand, it is good to see the confidence level of Bulldogs fans continue to grow. The team is having a remarkable season under Kirby Smart and seem poised for big results in the future.

Here is a look at the sign and Davis’ response from the SEC Network on Twitter:

Davis also said in another segment that it is a “very exciting” time to be an alum of the program and praised LB Roquan Smith for his play on defense. Davis believes Smith will be a first round pick in the NFL Draft when he leaves Georgia.
