It’s Christmas in July for Riverdale, Georgia, where one alumnus is giving the entire football team a new set of cleats. Cordy Glenn, an OT for the Buffalo Bills, was rewarded last offseason with the largest contract in the league for his position – and this offseason, the give back is real for the former UGA star.

Glenn can be seen here handing out the gifts and signing the boxes for some hopeful future NFL players.

Glenn is a Georgia boy at heart, and he defined consistency for the Bulldogs during his four-year tenue in Athens. He tied a school record with 50 starts in 53 career games from 2008-11, which earned Glenn a second-round selection in the 2012 NFL Draft.

Now, Glenn’s using that paycheck to the greater good and giving back to the Georgia roots that have made him the man that he is today.

Everybody starts somewhere, and while he may be in the frozen tundra of Buffalo now, Glenn shows that his heart will always be in the Peach State.
