Four-star OL Netori Johnson, a 2017 commit for the Georgia Bulldogs, stands out for a couple reasons.

The first is his size — he stands at 6-foot-4 and weighs 345 pounds. The second is his hair — it’s usually dyed a funky color.

According to rivals.com, Johnson’s hair is at the center of a friendly wager he has with Georgia offensive line coach Sam Pittman:

“I’m most definitely going to keep it through college,” Johnson said of his colorful hair last week at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge Presented by Under Armour – this time red with flashes of purplish pink.

“Coach Pittman was saying if I play up to my potential then he’ll let me keep it. If I don’t he’s going to make me take it out. That’s motivation to keep my hair because this is a part of me and this is what I like.”

Fortunately for Johnson, running backs Nick Chubb and Sony Michel are only juniors, so they may still be around in 2017 to help Johnson look good.

Plus, if freshman QB Jacob Eason plays the way the Bulldogs hope he plays, Johnson’s hair should be safe.
