The Georgia Bulldogs have reportedly made things official with former Indiana coach Tom Crean to become their next head coach.

After firing Mark Fox this offseason, the Dawgs set their sights high, which meant they were going to have to pay quite a bit of money to land a top candidate.

According to a report from Marc Weiszer, the Bulldogs will give Crean a six-year contract worth $3.2 million per year:

A $3.2 million salary would have tied for 10th among men’s basketball coaches this year, per USA TODAY. Interestingly, it would have made Crean even with Indiana coach Archie Miller, who replaced him for this season.

Crean led the Hoosiers to three Sweet 16 appearances, and he’ll be expected to be an NCAA Tournament regular during his time in Athens.
