Former UGA coach Mark Richt is entering his second season with the Miami Hurricanes, but he still has Georgia on his mind.

Two weeks until kickoff, Richt marked the occasion by sending well-wishes to the Bulldogs. Richt doesn’t appear to hold any hard feelings from the parting of ways that occurred following the 2015 season.

“The season will start in a couple of weeks,” Richt wrote in a tweet. “I’m excited about our team. But I would also like to wish the Dawgs the very best! U Family!”

The classy tweet got an overwhelmingly positive response from both Canes and Dawgs. While culturally very different, the two fanbases share similar attitudes toward Georgia Tech and Florida. They also both recognize that Richt is one of the most likable  people in football, regardless of what sideline he’s on.
