Nick Chubb and Sony Michel won’t be the only 5-star running backs at Sanford Stadium on Saturday.

Zamir White, the No. 1 running back of the 2018 class, tweeted that he’ll be in Athens for G-Day.

The 5-foot-11, 195-pound ball-carrier at Scotland County (Larinburg, N.C.) is rated the No. 4 recruit overall, No. 1 running back and No. 1 North Carolina prospect on the 247Sports Composite. With that kind of billing, it’s no surprise that White has 34 scholarship offers, including Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Recruiting experts have UGA as the favorite to land White, as he has shown the most interest in the Bulldogs, followed by Alabama, which also has its spring game Saturday, and Clemson. On 247Sports, 80 percent of experts’ Crystal Ball predictions have Georgia signing White, with the other 20 percent picking Clemson.

The first G-Day for coach Kirby Smart and QB Jacob Eason led to a packed house a year ago. Smart has challenged UGA fans to show up again, citing the day’s impact on recruiting prospects like White:

“I mean, our fan base should feel challenged,” Smart said following the Bulldogs’ second scrimmage of the spring. “They should want to go out and have more (attendance) than the other teams have because it does help in recruiting. It shows the passion and the energy that I know our fan base has, so that really is important.”

Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. ET on Saturday. White’s highlights can be viewed below:
