What a difference a week makes.

After smoking LSU 37-7 in Week 3, the Mississippi State Bulldogs hit the road and ran into the buzzsaw that is the Georgia Bulldogs.

Georgia cruised to an easy 31-3 victory, sending Mississippi State back to Starkville with a lot of questions to answer.

Mississippi State was receiving a lot of hype in the lead-up to the Georgia game, but on Sunday morning’s episode of SportsCenter, ESPN analyst Paul Finebaum said he’s been on the Georgia bandwagon all along.

“Everyone said Mississippi State’s the No. 2 team in the SEC after last week,” he said. “I said hold on a minute.

“It’s clear: Georgia is the legitimate threat to Alabama. I love Georgia.”

Georgia has a big game at Neyland Stadium against the Tennessee Volunteers next weekend. If the Dawgs want to prove they’re the class of the SEC East, they’ll need to take care of business against a struggling Vols’ squad.
