Todd Gurley uses Twitter to save high school student from taking finals
Every year around this time, we see high school and college students reaching out to famous athletes and celebrities to help them get out of finals.
On Tuesday, it was former Georgia RB Todd Gurley II’s chance to play the hero, and he did just that.
As you can see below, Dawson White reached out to the Los Angeles Rams star on Tuesday afternoon, saying if Gurley retweeted him, he wouldn’t have to take his exams:
My teachers said if I can get @TG3II to retweet my tweet I don't have to take my exams!!!

A little over three hours later, Gurley came through, as he has done often for the Rams this year, retweeting the tweet with a message for White:
Well no exam for you then. https://t.co/4cEWh4XtOp

Whether White’s teachers will live up to their end of the bargain remains to be seen, but Gurley did his part to make the holidays a little less stressful for at least one lucky high school student.
