Heading into the 2017 college football season, expectations are high for the Georgia Bulldogs.

As fans in Athens prepare for what they feel should be a fantastic season, the pressure on second-year coach Kirby Smart and his staff is building.

However, with the added pressure, two Georgia staff members will be receiving raises, which is always welcome ahead of a stressful season.

Running backs coach Dell McGee, who will be coaching returning stars Nick Chubb and Sony Michel (in addition to a crop of talented young runners waiting in the wings), will see his salary jump from $275,000 to $350,000, according to DawgNation.com.

Also listed in the report was strength and conditioning coordinator Scott Sinclair, who will see his pay rise by $80,000 — from $220,000 to $300,000 — in 2017.

Both coaches are entering their second years with the Georgia program. Suffice it to say that Smart seems to like what he’s seen from his assistants so far.
