The betting line for the Florida-Georgia game on Saturday in Jacksonville opened up with the third-ranked Bulldogs as 14-point favorites.

That’s the largest line from Vegas favoring the ‘Dawgs in this series since 1985, according to Covers, as pointed out by SEC Network news editor Brandon Zimmerman.

Georgia has dominated the competition this season, winning each of its first four SEC games by 25 points or more.

Florida, meanwhile, has been struggling. The Gators are 3-3 on the season and have lost two in a row to SEC West opponents LSU and Texas A&M — both at home.

It has been a while since UGA put a beat down on Florida. The Bulldogs’ last double-digit win over the Gators was in 2007 when they won 42-30. Florida has won three in a row in this series, all by at least 14 points.’

That could certainly change on Saturday.

Georgia opens as 14-point favorite over Florida. This is the most UGA has been favored over UF in records going back to ’85 kept by @covers.
