The future at quarterback for the Georgia football team appears very bright.

As a true freshman, QB Jacob Eason played relatively well — and flashed big-time ability with some of the throws he made. His upside is immense, and the Washington native truly does appear destined for success.

Georgia could’ve rested on their laurels — opting to not recruit a quarterback in the 2017 class. Not only did the Bulldogs land a quarterback in Jake Fromm, but they landed a potentially great one.

The captain of the East squad in the ’17 U.S. Army All-American Bowl, Fromm demonstrated why he’s one of the best signal-callers within this class:

NBC analyst Ross Tucker has consistently referred to Fromm as “the alpha dog among several alpha dogs” during the telecast.

Throughout the week of practice leading up to the game, Fromm has reportedly been the best signal-caller in attendance.

Building depth at the position is something head coach Kirby Smart wanted to address early in his tenure. With Fromm and Eason in the fold, the cupboard is certainly well-stocked. Even former Georgia great Todd Gurley is impressed with what he’s seen from Fromm. The Los Angeles Rams running back tweeted this out during the game:
