Will Georgia be a rare home underdog Saturday against Tennessee?
The Tennessee hype train is going strong once again. Following the Vols’ 38-28 victory over Florida, the team is once again being considered as the favorite in the East, so much so that it could be favored over Georgia in this weekend’s game in Athens, especially with the Bulldogs coming off a 45-14 loss to Ole Miss in Week 4.
Georgia hasn’t been an underdog at home since its 2011 matchup against South Carolina, according to David Paschall of the Chattanooga Times Free Press.
If research is correct, Georgia could be home dog this week for first time since 2011 So Car game (UGA was favored vs Bama last year).

Specifically, the Bulldogs have been heavily favored over the Vols in recent games played at Sanford Stadium. Georgia was a 14-point favorite in 2012 and a 17-point favorite in 2014, according to our own Michael Wayne Bratton.
This is accurate. Georgia a big favorite in Athens over Tennessee in recent history; -14 in 2012, -17 in 2014 https://t.co/GcJ785BKPI
