Kentucky senior defensive end/linebacker Alvin “Bud” Durpee was named as a Lott IMPACT Trophy Player of the Week nominee and junior Landon Foster earned honorable mention punter performer of week by the College Football Performance Awards Monday.

Dupree was one of six players nationally honored, with the winner to be determined through online voting and a national voter panel. He is one of 20 quarterfinalists for the Lott IMPACT Trophy and is coming off a 10-tackle performance against Mississippi State that included one sack. Dupree’s two QB hurries also led to big plays, including an interception and a forced fourth-down stop in the second half.

The senior ranks second in Kentucky history with 20 career sacks– leading all active SEC players– totaling 218 tackes and 30.5 tackles for loss. Dupree is also a midseason second-team All-SEC selection by Phil Steele and has 45 tackles, including four sacks, six for loss, an interception, a pass break-up and blocked kick.

Foster punted six times for a 47.8-yard average against Mississippi State. He dropped three punts inside the 20-yard line and had a long of 58 yards, just one yard shy of matching his career best. Foster has 40 attempts this season, with a 42.2-yard average and a career-best 20 punts inside the 20. The junior has a 42.1-yard average on 169 punts in his career, with 48 downed inside the 20.
