After serving as Ohio State’s quality control assistant for the 2016 season, former Kentucky coach Joker Phillips has landed a new gig.

According to FootballScoop.com, Phillips will join outgoing Buckeye co-defensive coordinator Luke Fickell with the Cincinnati Bearcats.

Phillips, who was at the helm of the Kentucky program from 2010 to 2012, will serve as Fickell’s wide receivers coach.

In his three seasons at Kentucky, Phillips finished with a record of 13-24 (4-20 in SEC play). After the school fired him in 2012, he spent the next two seasons at Florida. In 2015, he joined the Cleveland Browns as a wide receivers coach before moving to Ohio State this year.
