It’s business as usual for Kentucky on the 2017 recruiting trail.

Taking a similar approach to their expect 2016 haul in rounding up as many early commits as possible, the Wildcats have landed four verbals this week, including three on Tuesday, the latest coming in the form of four-star defensive end James Hudson.

The 6-foot-5, 260-pound pass rusher out of Toledo, Ohio committed to Kentucky four days after attending camp at Ohio State, who was believed to be Hudson’s leader. Hudson took an unofficial to Lexington on July 7 and was impressed by the Wildcats’ facilities.

The 15th best player in the country at his strongside position, Hudson joined Craig Yeast II and prep teammate Michael Warren as Tuesday commits.

Kentucky’s 2017 class is already ranked inside the Top 10 nationally according to 247Sports.
