When Kentucky big man Reid Travis went down with a knee injury against Mizzou on Tuesday night, it didn’t look good.

Many thought it looked like Travis’s season may have been over, but fortunately for the Wildcats, the MRI results painted a more optimistic picture.

After having his knee examined on Wednesday night, it was confirmed that Travis had a sprained knee, meaning he would miss two weeks of action:

Considering how bad the injury could have been, this is encouraging news for the Wildcats. The Stanford graduate transfer should be back in time for the SEC Tournament.

Travis is averaging 11.3 points and 6.9 rebounds per game this year, starting 23 of the Wildcats’ 26 games so far.
