According to a report from NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport, former Kentucky Wildcats and current San Diego Chargers receiver Stevie Johnson will be out for the entire 2016 season following surgery for a meniscus injury.

A native of the Bay Area, Johnson transferred from Chabot College to Lexington in 2005. He became a first-team All-SEC selection en route to being drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round of the 2008 draft.

Last year for the Chargers, Johnson accrued 45 receptions, three touchdown grabs, and 497 yards receiving in 10 games.
