Adam “Pacman” Jones is not one to hide his feelings, and when it comes to Joe Burrow, the former Cincinnati Bengals playmaker holds the former LSU quarterback in high regard.

“I want to make sure I say this the right way, I freaking love Joe,” Jones said. “Like when you sit down and talk to him, like this guy’s (expletive) different. He’s different in a great way. It shows why he never let the last play affect the play that he’s doing right now. The (feeling) I got sitting in there talking to him was just a winner. Straight forward, doesn’t blink, he’s just sitting there talking like, “Yeah, what’s up.” Super cool. I wish we would have had that when I was here.”

The Bengals’ preseason kicks off on Friday night with the Arizona Cardinals visiting Cincinnati. Burrow is recovering from an appendectomy procedure, and has been on a cart during practice in recent days.

The Bengals are coming off their first AFC championship and Super Bowl appearance in 33 seasons. Burrow completed 70.4 percent of his passes last season for 4,611 yards and 34 touchdowns.
