Two years ago, LSU coach Ed Orgeron feuded with OC Matt Canada, eventually leading to Canada’s departure after only one season.

Last fall, he seemed to get along better with new OC Steve Ensminger, but the LSU offense still didn’t look great at times.

This spring, though, he seems to be happier with the offense, which returns a number of key players in the passing game, including QB Joe Burrow. On Tuesday night, he went as far as to say he finally has the offense he wants:

That is certainly an interesting statement, because it puts a lot of pressure on Coach O himself. Now that he likes the offense, if it doesn’t succeed, he’ll be held accountable.

Can Burrow lead the Tigers to their best offensive season in years? If he doesn’t, changes could be coming to Baton Rouge.
