The official Twitter account for LSU football dropped a video describing the process that went into defensive end B.J. Ojulari being presented with the No. 18 for the 2022 season.

Head coach Brian Kelly talked about the importance of the number while clips of Ojulari from the practice field, the weight room and in front of the media are spliced in.

“It’s a guy that raises the temperature of everybody in the room,” Kelly said. “He does it by his presence. He does it by his actions. He’s somebody that you want to follow.”

Ojulari, an edge defender listed at 6-foot-3 and 244 pounds, had 31 tackles and seven sacks last season for the Tigers. He was named to the All-SEC Preseason First Team and is on the Bednarik and Nagurski Award watch lists.

“I’m leaving my legacy at LSU,” Ojulari said. “Once you wear No. 18 you can’t go back. You’re going to be forever 18.”
