LSU has another quarterback to add to its depth chart in former Purdue signal caller Danny Etling, according to 247Sports. He’ll make the fourth signal caller LSU will have on scholarship this fall.

Etling visited LSU this past weekend, and he’ll have to sit out the 2015 season due to the NCAA’s transfer rules. He’ll have two more years of eligibility remaining in 2016 and 2017.

In 13 games with Purdue, Etling completed 238-of-429 passes for 2,490 yards, 16 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

He was rated the country’s No. 17 pro-style quarterback in the 2013 recruiting class.
