LSU pulled off an incredible come-from-behind 27-23 win over Auburn Saturday.

The 20-point deficit was the Tigers largest comeback win at home since 1949. Impressive.

And nobody was happier than Ed Orgeron, as he met with the media following the game (via Periscope):

  • Great win for our football team. We’re very resilient.
  • We came alive in the second half.
  • Great job by our defense and defensive staff.
  • The crowd was electric and everything you dream about at an LSU football game.
  • Defensive adjustments was based around a certain formation they (Auburn) gave us. The changes worked.
  • We beat a good football team, and it was a total team effort. We’re just becoming a football team.
  • The offense kept the drives alive in the second half.
  • It was a great overall team effort.
  • He didn’t consider going for it on 4th and 1 because “we needed the points.”
  • Russell Gage has had a big year and playmaker for us. He added that he’s a leader.
  • LB Devin White is tremendous and has a lot of heart.
  • I’m just so happy that I’m wearing purple and gold.
