LSU’s track and field program is starting to look like a pipeline to the NFL. Three weeks ago, former LSU track star Cyril Grayson signed with the Seattle Seahawks. On Monday, the Atlanta Falcons decided to give another former LSU track standout, Jordan Moore, an NFL opportunity.

LSU’s official Twitter account announced the news:

A big difference between Grayson and Moore is experience at the college level. While Grayson last played football in high school, Moore actually has college experience. Moore began his college career playing football for TCU. In three seasons with the Horned Frogs, Moore had 20 carries for 87 yards and a touchdown, plus seven catches for 50 yards. He then transferred to LSU, where he joined the track team for 2015 and ’16 seasons, earning All-America honors for the 110-meter hurdle.

After Moore graduated from LSU, he transferred to University of Texas San Antonio, coached by former Tigers assistant Frank Wilson. He played safety during the 2016 season and earned an honorable mention for All-Conference USA honors.
