The Jacksonville Jaguars recently got an up close look at former LSU CB Dwayne Thomas. Apparently they liked what they saw.

Days after being cut by New England, Thomas has landed with Jacksonville. The Patriots and Jaguars had joint practices in Foxborough, Mass. last week.

At LSU, Thomas appeared in 41 games over his five-year career and posted 110 career tackles, 5.5 sacks, two interceptions, 20 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Patriots in May.

Thomas will wear No. 29 for the Jaguars.
