Ed Orgeron, who served as LSU’s interim coach after the September firing of Les Miles before earning the full-time head coaching gig recently, will receive $675,000 for his seven-game stint as the interim coach.

According to documents obtained by The Advocate, Orgeron will be receive the money in one lump payment when it is approved by the LSU Board of Supervisors:

Not bad for two months of work. Of course, Orgeron will be paid much more next year as the Tigers’ full-time head coach.
