Tuesday night’s release of the College Football Playoff Poll didn’t top Saturday night’s dramatic retention of coach Les Miles, but it’s good news nonetheless for Tigers fans: LSU is back in the playoff rankings.

The Tigers, who fell out last week, jumped back in at No. 21 following their 19-7 victory over Texas A&M. They were No. 23 in the AP Poll and Coaches Poll, released Sunday.

The playoff’s final four teams will be revealed at noon, Dec. 6, following Saturday’s conference championship games.

LSU’s next game will be its bowl game. It appears likely that the Tigers will head to Orlando to play in the Citrus Bowl.
