Two weeks ago, LSU didn’t have a quarterback committed for the Class of 2017.

Now, the Tigers have gotten pledges from two in the last 10 days, the latest one coming from Lowell Narcisse, a former Auburn commit.

The St. James, La. product is a four-star talent and is the No. 5-ranked dual-threat QB in the class, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.

Narcisse, who reportedly had an unofficial visit with the coaches on campus this afternoon according to SB Nation’s Billy Gomila, made the announcement on Twitter the same day.

The news of Narcisse’s commitment follows that of pro-style QB Myles Brennan, a three-star prospect out of Bay Saint Louis, Miss. who gave his pledge to LSU on April 23.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Narcisse, who was recruited by offensive coordinator Cam Cameron, had received offers from elite schools such as Alabama, Auburn and Clemson. He de-committed from Auburn back in mid-January.

He is LSU’s seventh commitment for 2017, which includes five-star DT Tyler Shelvin, the No. 2 DT in the cycle.
