LSU LB Devin White says win at Auburn wasn't a comeback
Though LSU had to rally from a double-digit, second-half deficit to beat Auburn last week, one of the players who made it happen doesn’t truly consider it a comeback win.
LSU linebacker Devin White shared that opinion with reporters this week, according to a tweet from Andrew Lopez, who covers the Tigers for NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune.
Don't call it a comeback.
No, seriously. Don't tell Devin White it's a comeback. If you aren't getting 21-point ruled (re: Madden), it isn't a comeback. pic.twitter.com/w1rFKA8mzg

By White’s reasoning, the victory doesn’t qualify as a comeback because the game wasn’t a blowout.
Auburn did, however, take a 21-10 lead with more than 10 minutes to play in the third quarter. But in White’s mind, that’s not quite the same as last year’s contest when Auburn went ahead 20-0 early in the second quarter before LSU stormed back for the upset win at home.
