The LSU Tigers will get their first primetime game of the season on Sept. 20 when they take on Mississippi State at 7 p.m. ET, 6 p.m. CT on ESPN, the SEC announced Monday.

The Tigers’ first SEC game of the season will also be the school’s annual “Gold Game,” with fans encouraged to wear gold shirts in the stands.

The game against Mississippi State is the third in a four-game homestand for LSU. After a neutral-site game to start the season, the Tigers took on Sam Houston State in the home opener. On Sept. 13, they get Louisiana-Monroe on ESPNU, and they’ll square off against New Mexico State on Sept. 27 before hitting the road.
