College football recruits have an interesting way of interpreting certain words, such as “committed,” and LSU pledge Nadab Joseph may have started a new trend: very detailed descriptions.

At Sunday’s “The Opening” Miami regional, Joseph was asked about his commitment to the Tigers by ESPN’s Derek Tyson. His response was interesting, to say the least.

College football fans who follow recruiting have gotten used to prospects calling themselves “committed” but keeping their recruitment “open.” Perhaps this new detailed percentage approach will be beneficial for everyone involved to know just how committed a prospect is to a certain school.

In the case of Joseph, LSU would certainly like to see that commitment hit 100 percent. The Edison (Miami) product is rated the No. 20 safety and No. 42 Florida prospect by the 247Sports Composite. He originally committed on June 11.
