With quarterback play being inconsistent (to say the least) over the last few years, LSU has made it a point to go out and lure top talent to the program from the high school ranks.

By the looks of it, the Tigers may have found their future star signal-caller:

2017 QB commitment Myles Brennan put up eye-popping numbers in his last ballgame — throwing for over 500 yards and accruing nine touchdowns. In fact, he had more touchdown throws than incompletions.

By throwing for eight touchdowns, he broke the Mississippi state record for most career passing scores (152) — besting former Mississippi State QB Dylan Favre (yes, the nephew of Green Bay legend Brett).

A 4-star prospect out of Mississippi, the pro-style prospect is being heavily pursued by Cal and in-state program Ole Miss. However, Brennan has held steadfast in his commitment to LSU.
