LSU has landed its sixth commitment of its 2018 recruiting class from junior college defender Travez Moore. Before landing at Copiah-Lincoln Community College, Moore played for Bastrop High School in Louisiana.

Moore officially announced the news on Twitter Thursday morning.

The 6-foot-6, 250-pound Moore looks to be an ideal edge rusher in Dave Aranda’s 3-4 defense, in the mold of Arden Key and 2017 signee K’Lavon Chaisson. Moore commits to LSU over Oregon, his only other FBS offer at this time.

According to 247Sports, Moore does not currently have a star ranking or a positional grade. Check out his latest highlight reel to get an idea of how he could fit into LSU’s defense for the 2018 season:

  • Watching his highlight reel, he does not impress me. Getting pushed off the line and making plays 5 yards down the field? Should have asked him to be a preferred walk-on and prove it with the big boys. Hopefully I’m wrong.

    • That was his HS highlights where he was around 6’3″ 230 lbs he now stands 6’6″ 250 lbs, he’s going to be groomed for the Buck LB position the same position LB Arden Key Stared In Last Season. GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PURPLEREIGN☔☔☔☔☔☔☔☔☔☔☔
