Ed Orgeron and Matt Canada received some big news Monday when WR D.J. Chark announced he will be back for his senior season, seeking to earn a degree from LSU.

In his junior year, Chark was No. 2 on the team in receiving yards, posting 26 catches for 466 yards and 3 touchdowns. He announced his decision with a note posted to his Twitter account.

Chark appeared in all 12 games in 2016. He recorded a season-high 91 receiving yards against Southern Miss in Week 7. LSU is still awaiting a decision from fellow junior Malachi Dupre, the team’s leading receiver this season (41 catches, 593 yards, 3 TD).
