The anticipated debut for LSU freshman wide receiver Malachi Dupre will have to wait another week. Dupre isn’t traveling with the team to Houston for the Wisconsin game, according to 247Sports.com.

Dupre has been battling a reported hamstring and ankle injury during the preseason, and it will hold him out for at least one game against the Badgers. In Dupre’s absence, fellow freshman Trey Quinn becomes that much more important. Quinn and returners Travin Dural and John Diarse should be the primary receivers, with Quantavius Leslie and Avery Peterson getting in on the action, too.

SDS anticipates Dupre to have a huge freshman season, but it won’t start Saturday.

Also, cornerback Rashard Robinson didn’t make the trip due to a suspension, according to The Daily Reveille.
