Longtime LSU blog DandyDon.com has a new poll up, asking its readers who they think the two most impressive true freshmen on the roster have been through two games. The fans’ answers may come as a bit of a surprise.

Trey Quinn, who has three catches for 37 yards through two contests, is far and away the leading vote getter as of this posting, garnering votes from 44.3 percent of responders. A freshman running back is second in the polls, but it’s probably not the one you think. Darrel Williams, who had 65 yards and a TD in his debut, is pulling in just under 11 percent of the votes, ahead of Leonard Fournette by about a half percent.

Defensive tackle Davon Godchaux is right behind Fournette in fourth place, with about 9.7 percent of votes, and QB Brandon Harris is far behind in fifth at 5.9 percent.

The poll will remain open until late Tuesday night. To chime in, vote here.
