Report: Former LSU, current Miami OL suffers knee injury, may miss Week 1 matchup vs. Tigers
Back in 2016, former LSU OL George Brown Jr. announced he was transferring from the Tigers, eventually ending up at Miami.
Interestingly, the Hurricanes will face Brown’s former team in the Week 1 opener in Arlington, Texas, on Sunday, Sept. 2.
However, it appears Brown won’t be playing, as it was reported on Tuesday that he had sustained an MCL injury and would undergo surgery:

There was no consensus on what role Brown would play for the Hurricanes this season, as some sites projected him as the starting right tackle and others as a backup.
Brown was a 3-star recruit coming out of high school in Ohio, per the 247Sports composite.
