Urban Meyer will not be returning to the SEC anytime soon.

On Monday, it was reported by FootballScoop.com that LSU would at the very least reach out to Meyer in hopes of gauging his interest for the vacant head coach position after the university fired Les Miles over the weekend.

Meyer, who is 53-4 (31-1 Big Ten) since taking over Ohio State in 2012 with a national championship ring, was asked about the report during his press conference on Tuesday. He immediately put any inkling of speculation to rest.

“No, I’ve not been contacted,” he said. “I’m going to be the coach at Ohio State.”

Well, that settles that.
