WATCH: Booger McFarland heaps praise on LSU defense in passionate 'Sunday Sermon'
Early in the second quarter of Saturday afternoon’s game against Auburn, LSU found itself in a 20-point hole with not many signs of life.
We all know what happened next, as coach Ed Orgeron’s Tigers battled their way back and earned an impressive 27-23 win over Auburn.
On Sunday, ESPN analyst Booger McFarland appeared on SportsCenter and delivered a passionate “Sunday Sermon,” praising the LSU defense for battling back and keeping the Tigers in the game:

McFarland was a former LSU defensive lineman and is used to strong defenses at his alma mater, so the second half of Saturday’s performance was exactly what he wanted to see.
If LSU can continue playing like that on the defensive side of the ball, the Tigers will be tough to beat this year.
