Kendell Beckwith’s LSU career came to an unceremonious end when the star linebacker tore his ACL in November during a game against Florida.

However, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ third-round pick is clearly recovering nicely and has already made his return to the field.

As you can see in the play below, the rookie linebacker shows off quick speed to stop the Jacksonville Jaguars’ running back well behind the line of scrimmage during Thursday night’s preseason contest:

Beckwith finished the game (a 12-8 Buccaneers victory) with four tackles, two of which were for a loss.

To be fair, the Bucs won’t be playing the Jaguars again this year, but Thursday night’s game proved Beckwith’s knee is almost back to full strength as the 2017 season approaches.
