The LSU Tigers are excited to see what they’ll get from a pair of Texas Tech transfers this year — DL Breiden Fehoko and WR Jonathan Giles.

As they continue spring practices, the two former Red Raiders are gearing up for their first season in Baton Rouge, after having sat out the 2017 season due to NCAA transfer rules.

As you can see in the video below, shared by @Mike_Gegs on Twitter, Fehoko thinks Giles is going to take the SEC by storm this fall:

“When the time hit, I told Coach O, ‘This is going to be the next best receiver in the nation a year from now,'” he said. “The SEC, I don’t think a lot of people are used to passing touchdowns or real explosive wide receivers. He knows how to run routes. He knows how to get open. He knows how to make plays with the ball in his hands.”

Fehoko clearly thinks his former teammate is a star, so it’ll be interesting to see how both former Texas Tech players’ careers play out under coach Ed Orgeron at LSU.
