Former Mississippi State DL Fabien Lovett was one of the Bulldogs who entered the NCAA transfer portal after coach Mike Leach’s controversial tweet.

He initially said he was transferring to Florida State, but then it seemed that might fall through. Then there were rumors that he might end up at Ole Miss instead.

However, on Friday night, he announced on Twitter that he had officially signed with Florida State, as you can see below:

Lovett appeared in 11 games this past season for the Bulldogs, recording 19 tackles (2.5 for a loss) and 1 sack. It is unclear at this time whether he’ll have to sit out a year or if he’ll get a waiver from the NCAA.

Lovett was a 3-star defensive end in the class of 2018 coming out of high school.
