Mississippi State came out flexing on Arkansas and, to their credit, never let up on a down Razorback program, coming away with a 52-6 win Saturday in Starkville.

Following this result, the Bulldogs improve to 7-4 on the season with a 3-4 mark in conference play. While the Razorbacks fall to 2-9 on the season, with a 0-7 SEC record.

The star of the Senior Day was senior Mississippi State quarterback Nick Fitzgerald. In the final home game of his college career, Fitzgerald scored five touchdown total — four passing and one rushing on the day. Bob Shoop’s unit came up with another dominant performance, not allowing a single touchdown to be scored in the game.

That marks the eighth time this season Mississippi State has allowed only one defensive touchdown this season. The defense also forced a turnover for the 14th consecutive game after intercepting Arkansas QB Ty Storey on Saturday.
