Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen — a well-recognized quarterback guru — is always looking far and wide for the next great Bulldogs’ signal-caller.

While Los Angeles isn’t known as a city within MSU’s recruiting footprint, Mullen dipped into the City of Angels for his latest QB commitment — as 3-star signal-caller Robbie Blosser announced his decision Tuesday to attend the university on Twitter:

Blosser visited Starkville this past weekend. It isn’t known as to whether he will be a scholarship or walk-on player. His only other reported offer has come from North Texas.

Playing against some of the best competition in Southern California, Blosser threw for 28 touchdowns and 2,539 yards this past year.

With Blosser and 4-star QB Keytaon Thompson coming in, Mullen has done a great job of building depth behind rising star Nick Fitzgerald.
