Mississippi State is hoping to set a new school-record for spring game attendance in Starkville this weekend for the much-anticipated debut of Joe Moorhead’s team in the Maroon & White game. Now we know which players will be competing against each other on the field this weekend.

The school unveiled the rosters for the White team and the Maroon team on Friday.

Of note, Nick Fitzgerald, Stephen Guidry, Keith Mixon, and Powers Warren are all out for the game due to injuries. In another interesting note, quarterback Keytaon Thompson will be playing for both teams in the game.

Mississippi State’s coach broke down the roster for the game on Thursday evening.

“It’s not going to be an offense vs. defense scoring system,” Joe Moorhead said. “It’s going to be a Maroon and a White team. And I don’t know that it’s necessarily divided evenly. But there will be some ones and twos on the Maroon. There will be some one-and-a-halves and twos and threes on the White. And then there are some, probably 10-12 guys that are going to have two jerseys so they’ll play on the Maroon team in the first half and the White team in the second half. We’re trying to balance it out as best we can.”

Here is the complete breakdown of each roster, starting with the White team with the Maroon team below:
