Mississippi State continues to stock up on offensive linemen with the commitment of Haughton (La.) OG Josh Cooper.

The 6-foot-7, 355-pound Cooper is rated 3-stars by 247Sports. He chose Mississippi State over TCU, Louisiana-Monroe and Louisiana-Lafayette. Cooper is expected to move to offensive tackle according to Bulldawgs247’s Paul Jones.

MSU now has five offensive linemen in its 2017 class. The Bulldogs have six returning linemen for next season, with LT Martinas Rinkin the lone senior. Seven of the other 10 linemen will be freshmen or sophomores in 2017, giving Dan Mullen’s squad a solid foundation upfront for the future.
