Report: Mississippi State lands commitment from 2018 defensive back
While most attention is on Wednesday’s National Signing Day for the 2017 recruiting class, the Mississippi State Bulldogs landed a commitment from a 2018 prospect on Friday.
According to 247Sports, 2018 DB Esaias Furdge pledged his allegiance to Dan Mullen’s crew:

Furdge, a 6-foot, 185-pound cornerback, is the No. 52 corner in the class of 2018 and the No. 9 overall prospect from the state of Mississippi, according to his 247Sports page.
Mississippi State now has four commits in its 2018 recruiting class.
