On Saturday, Tennessee plays at Missouri in a battle of teams trying to stay on a winning path. While the Volunteers look to be trending in the right direction, the jury is still out on Missouri despite the Tigers’ victory last week over Brigham Young.

Let’s take a look at five impact players for Mizzou in Saturday’s matchup.

1. RB Russell Hansbrough — No Missouri running back had more than 100 yards in a game all season until last week. Hansbrough showed grit and toughness racking up 117 yards on the ground in the win over BYU. If the Tigers can run the ball, good things happen. If not, their offense struggles.

2.  QB Drew Lock — The Tigers offense finally showed some life last week and Lock looked in control of the offense for the first time this year. Lock finished the game 19 of 28 for 244 yards, one touchdown and one interception. If he can build off this for the Tennessee game, the Tigers should stand a chance.

3.  LB Kentrell Brothers —  The linebacker provides a major impact each time he hits the field. Brothers leads the SEC with 128 tackles and could create havoc for Vols QB Joshua Dobbs and the Tennessee offense.

4. DL Charles Harris – Harris is one of the anchors on a defensive line that has been stout against the run. Missouri has only allows 113 yards per game on the ground, which is No. 15 in the NCAA. Jalen Hurd has had a solid season for the Vols, so Harris will need to make plays on Saturday.

5.  K Andrew Baggett – The kicker has been one of the leading scorers for Missouri this season with 60 points. In a close game, the kicking game could make the difference. Baggett’s long this year is 41 yards, but he’s made 15 of 19 attempts.
