The Maclin family legacy is a strong one at Missouri and it will only continue to grow as in-state receiver Jay Maclin has announced his commitment to the Tigers. Maclin announced his decision Thursday during a ceremony at his high school.

Jay Maclin, the cousin of Jeremy Maclin, is a rising senior for Kirkwood High School in Kirkwood, Mo. He scored 10 touchdowns last season and registered over 700 yards of offense playing both sides of the ball and special teams for Kirkwood. The 5-foot-11, 178-pound receiver selected Missouri over scholarship offers from Kentucky, Arizona State, Indiana and Iowa.

247Sports Composite Rankings list Maclin as a three-star prospect and a top 10 prospect from Missouri in the 2020 recruiting cycle. The Tigers now hold commitments from three prospects in the 2020 recruiting class as Maclin joins fellow in-state recruits Brady Cook, a quarterback from St. Louis, and Drake Heismeyer, an offensive lineman from Saint Charles.
