Mack Rhoades was introduced as Baylor’s athletic director Monday. But he didn’t look ahead without a few glances back at Missouri.

Speaking at Big 12 Media Days in Dallas, Rhoades offered some reflections as he prepared to begin a new professional chapter. He left Missouri last Wednesday after a short stint in Columbia, where he was introduced as the school’s athletic director in April 2015.

Certainly, Rhoades will have his work cut out for him at Baylor, which is reeling from a massive sexual assault scandal. The school has named Wren Baker as its interim athletic director.
